Meet the Staff

Nathan Hyde has been the lead pastor at CrossWay Church since May 2007. He and his wife Carolyn, who teaches Preschool, were married in June 2004 and have a daughter, Laura Marie. Before coming on board at CrossWay Nathan served as Discipleship Pastor at SonRise Church in Berlin, Maryland. Prior to that he was the youth pastor at Magna View Baptist Church in Talbott, Tennessee. Nathan enjoys listening to other preachers, reading, watching sports, playing with kids, and eating Mexican food. Among his favorite Bible verses is Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” (A close second is Leviticus 13:40: “When a man has lost his hair and is bald, he is clean.”)

Josh Engle is the worship pastor at CrossWay, where his family has been actively involved since 1985. Josh and Christi were married in 1997 and have two sons, Luke and Nathan. In addition to serving as an elder, Josh leads the music team each Sunday as he sings and plays guitar or keyboard. He and Christi also sign our worship services for the deaf. Josh has been a sign language interpreter in local schools for 11 years, and is very active in the fire department. He enjoys motorcycles, being a firefighter, music, and volleyball. His favorite Bible passages are 1 John 4:7-21 and Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Worship Service: Sundays at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.
